Cardiac robotics

Clinical Center

Advanced Interventional Cardiology Procedures

All percutaneous robotic interventions are performed in our modern cardiac center in Nowy Sacz. We have a team of doctors, nurses, and engineers who perform procedures using the latest generation robot (Corindus Vascular Inc). The system was installed in mid-March 2021, being the first of its kind in Central-Eastern Europe and one of the first worldwide. The first procedure using the Corindus robot took place on March 23rd, performed by a team of certified operators: Prof. Dariusz Dudek, Dr. Aleksander Zelias, and Dr. Marcin Nosala.

Training Center

Preparing for a Robotic Future

In our two centers in Krakow and Nowy Sacz, we offer a comprehensive training program for doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. We provide a range of basic and advanced courses covering all aspects of robotics training. Our in-house ex vivo simulator allows doctors to learn and refine interventional skills and techniques using robots, with additional support and guidance from our team of experts. Thanks to our world-class facilities and comprehensive training program, we are proud to be recognized by Siemens as a global training center for the Corindus robotic platform.

Research and Development

Pushing Boundaries in Interventional Procedures

We collaborate with academic and industrial partners worldwide to conduct a range of research, from large-scale clinical studies to more specialized technical investigations. We foster an innovative spirit by bringing together doctors and engineers to develop new ideas and technologies in the field of automated interventions.
